COMPOSITION FOR TREATING ATOPIC DERMATITIS COMPRISING EXTRACTS OF BAMBOO AND SCUTELLARIA

A composition comprising plant extracts is provided to show excellent effect on the atopic dermatitis without side effects by controlling the release of anti-histamine and leukotriene. A composition for treating atopic dermatitis comprises a mixture composition of an extract of bamboo and an extract of Scutellaria baicalensis as an effective ingredient, wherein the mixture ratio of the extract of bamboo to the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis is 1-10:1-10. The extract of bamboo is water-insoluble fraction of 50-90% ethanol extract or ethanol-soluble fraction of hot water extract and the extract of Scutellaria baicalensis is extracted by using water, methanol, ethanol or mixture thereof.
