<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source and a lighting system improved to have fully raised heat dissipation performance and a long life. <P>SOLUTION: In the light source body 3 including a substrate 6 having a light emitting element 5 mounted on the front surface thereof and a frame 7 for holding the substrate 6 in such a manner that the front surface of the substrate 6 is opened, a through hole 13 is formed in the substrate 6 to electrically connect a conductor 11 on the front surface side to a conductor 12 on the rear surface side, a heat transmission member 15 is filled into the through hole 13 and the rear surface of the substrate 6 is firmly fixed to the frame 7 with a resin member 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
