<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording body, which has high color developing sensitivity, by which a high image quality recording image can be obtained and, at the same time, which has high heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In this thermosensitive recording body, a thermosensitive color developing layer including colorless or light-colored electron donative leuco dye and electron acceptive developer is provided on a support and, at the same time, a protective layer is provided on the thermosensitive color developing layer, the protective layer includes kaolin having an aspect ratio of at least 20 and, at the same time, the thermosensitive color developing layer includes a compound expressed by R<SP>1</SP>Ph-SO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>2</SP>as the electron acceptive developer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
