<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for removing carbon monoxide which has a high adsorption amount of CO gas and is capable of selective and highly active methanation of carbon monoxide even at a low temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The catalyst for carbon monoxide methanation is made by depositing at least one kind of metal selected from 4B group, 6A group, 7A group and 8 group as active component on zeolite, wherein the content of the metal in the catalyst lies in the range of 0.5 to 15 wt.%. In a removal method of carbon monoxide, the zeolite is at least one kind selected from ZSM-5 type zeolite, mordenite type zeolite, faujasite type zeolite and β zeolite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
