<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device having excellent radial direction bearing stiffness. <P>SOLUTION: When an axial direction through hole 12 is formed in a bearing member 7, an inner circumference surface 8a of the bearing member 7 becomes a non-true circle shape since forming contraction amount differs in an circumference direction. A sizing pin 13 is pressed into the inner circumference surface 8a and temperature is raised under such a condition to make a shape of the inner circumference surface 8a follow an outer circumference surface shape of the sizing pin 13 and cylindricity is set to 5μm or less.
