BASE STATION CONCENTRATOR, AND INTER-APPARATUS SYNCHRONIZATION CONTROL METHOD IN BASE STATION CONCENTRATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station concentrator accommodating a plurality of base stations and acting like allowing a radio network controller to recognize the base stations as one node B that can carry out inter-apparatus synchronization control without increasing the processing load imposed on the radio network controller independently of whether a communication system adopted by a mobile communication system is the TDMA system or the CDMA system.

SOLUTION: The base station concentrator 200a realizes the inter-apparatus synchronization control by (1) broadcasting a DOWN synchronization frame received from the RNC (radio network controller) 100 to each base station, (2) transmitting only an UP synchronization frame finally arrived among UP synchronization frames received from each base station to the RNC 100, and (3) managing a transfer delay difference between its own base station and each base station relative to the base station for transmitting the UP synchronization frame arrived finally.
