PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging basket saving time for watering and capable of keeping soil in an appropriate water retaining condition. SOLUTION: This hanging basket 1 has a basket body 11 having an engaging part 25 to a stand D, a detachable dividing member 12 vertically dividing the main body 11, a water storage tank 13 placed on a bottom part 24 of the basket body 11 and under the dividing member 12, a container 14 placed on the dividing member 12 and holding soil B and flowering plants, and a watering member 15 sprinkling water to the soil B in the container 14 from the water storage tank 13 using capillary phenomenon.
