PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pressurization method capable of obtaining a pressure increasing as the remaining quantity of a liquid in the liquid storing bag decreases and applying an appropriate pressure to a liquid storing bag without using special control or a complex mechanism when the liquid storing bag is pressurized, a liquid discharge device and a liquid cartridge. SOLUTION: The printer has a pressurizing plate 62 which pressurizes an ink pack 40 in an ink cartridge portion 25 and an attraction member 70 provided with a magnetic force action member 63 which actuates the pressurizing plate 62 in the direction of pressurizing the ink pack 40 by a magnetic attraction and attracting and actuating the magnetic force action member 63 by a magnetic force.
