PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater inflow rate forecasting system which is forecasts a rainwater inflow rate precisely at low cost. SOLUTION: The rainwater inflow rate forecasting system 10 includes: a server computer 11 having an inflow rate forecasting model making function 12 and an inflow rate forecasting function 13; a data base 15 retaining geographic information, observation mesh information from a rainwater radar, and a history of weather information; and a terminal 17 having an input function 18 and a display function 19. A user selects the observation mesh of the rainwater radar using the input function 18 of the input terminal 17 to input the observation mesh to make an inflow rate forecasting model. The user also corrects a parameter/default value held by the inflow rate forecasting model making function 12. The rainwater inflow rate forecasting system 10 forecasts a rainwater inflow rate based on weather information and the inflow rate forecasting model. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
