PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a stop position of a sliding door cannot be maintained because the door is lifted or lowered on ground that a balance between the weight of the sliding door and pulling force of a spring coil is disrupted for the reason that the friction of a holding part causes a change of its shape and a remarkable decrease in frictional force, when the movement of the sliding door is frequently repeated. SOLUTION: This sideboard having an opening in the front has a guide groove 16 in the opening, and comprises the sliding door 20 which slides upward/downward along the guide groove, an anti-fall mechanism 60 which is provided in the sliding door itself and an auxiliary mechanism for assisting the anti-fall mechanism.
