PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining device, which is simply designed and able of adjusting a pressing plate even when a conveying means and a pressing means and/or the pressing plate are relatively long. SOLUTION: A machining device (1) for machining a panel shaped work includes a conveying means (2) for conveying the panel shaped work as a machining subject and a pressing means (4) with a pressing plate (6) so that to have the panel shaped work as machining subject, and further a holding means (8) connecting the pressuring plate (6) to the conveying means (2), via a guiding means (10), and at least one machine tool or a machining assembly is arranged along the conveying means (2). The guiding means (10) is arranged slidably along the pressing plate, and has at least one slant guiding member which has a slant guiding face extending angled with conveying direction of the conveying means (2).
