PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die-casting device and a casting process in which the reinforcement of the rear face of a movable die is possible even when the device is equipped with a C plate as a part of a casting machine in a space between the movable die and a die base. SOLUTION: A spacer 3 of the die-casting device 1 has a bridge part 3a formed in the space between the C plate 9 and a pin plate 7 and a holding part 3b extending from approximately the intermediate position of the bridge part 3a and passing through the pin plate 7, and abutting on the rear face of the movable die 2. The holding part 3b abuts on the rear face of the movable die 2 and prevents the occurrence of deflection in the movable die 2 by casting pressure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
