PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token selector 100 scarcely causing the jamming of tokens. SOLUTION: This token selector 100 is provided with a token passage 106, a token cancellation part 120 for removing tokens from the token passage 106 and a token sensor detecting that a token passes through the token passage 106; the token cancellation part 120 has a rail part 122 constituting a part of the bottom face of the token passage 106, an upper-side guide 124 conformed to the standards and guiding the upper-side edge of a token, and a rail displacement means 130 displacing the rail part 122 between a bottom face constitution position, or a position constituting the bottom face of the token passage 106, and a retreat position, or a position non-constituting the bottom face of the token passage 106.
