The invention relates to a method and a system for authentication of at least one mobile radio terminal (MO1, MO2) by means of an authentication terminals (AEG), with the at least one mobile radio terminal (MO1, MO2) having an identification number (ID1, ID2) which is stored in the authentication terminal (AEG) and is associated there with at least one name (NA1, NA2) with the authentication terminal (AEG) asking and checking by radio whether the identification number (ID1, ID2) of a mobile radio terminal (MO1, MO2) which is entering its transmission/reception area matches the stored identification number (ID1, ID2), with the authentication terminal (AEG) initiating the process of setting up a connection to the mobile radio terminal (MO1, MO2) from the names (NA1, NA2) associated with the identification number (ID1, ID2) if a match is found, with the associated name (NA1, NA2) being indicated on the mobile radio terminal, and with the authentication terminal (AEG) terminating an authentication process as soon as the process of setting up a connection to the authentication terminal (AEG) occurring among the indicated names (NA1, NA2) is confirmed by at least one mobile radio terminal (MO1, MO2). |
