Disclosed are functionalized oligomers or polymers and especially ionomers, ionomer blends, and ionomer (blend) membranes based on partially fluorinated polyaryls whose functional groups (e.g. sulfonic acid groups, phosphonic acid groups, and sulfonimide groups) can already be part of the respective monomer or can be incorporated later by chemically modifying the basic polymer accordingly. Also disclosed are methods for producing said ionomers, ionomer blends, and ionomer (blend) membranes. |
