<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict a traffic condition easily and accurately. <P>SOLUTION: An arbitrary link is detected from a plurality of links for composing a road network by a detection section 2002, and result information related to a first period up to current time and that related to a second period, excluding the current time are acquired from the result information for relating travel speeds in the detected arbitrary link for each date/time by an acquisition section 2004. Then, the similarity between the acquired result information related to the first period and that related to the second period is calculated by a calculation section 2005, and the result information related to the third period after the lapse of the second period is determined to be the predicted value of the travel speed from the current time by a determination section 2006, based on the calculated similarity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
