<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of reducing wasteful charging imposed on a mobile terminal whose communication is given up on the way and interrupted because of lack of understanding as to whether the communication is tried or the service is interrupted and avoiding double charging due to a response delay and time-out. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile communication system disclosed herein wherein ATM switches and wireless base stations connectable to the Internet separately exist is characterized in that a data transfer amount per unit time is uniformized for each mobile terminal in a packet communication state when the mobile terminals make communication almost at the same time in one and same service area, and also is characterized in that double transmission by retransmission from the Internet is avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
