<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for a flat circuit board in which a movable member does not fall off without making the connector large sized. <P>SOLUTION: The movable member 40 can be inserted between two support arms 14, 16 in a free state of a cam part 44 at an open position, a locking part 16B to carry out fall-off prevention by engagement with the cam part 44 after insertion is formed at one support arm 16, a regulating fitting 30 is installed at a position parallel to the terminal, a regulated part 45 is provided at a position in which the movable member 40 corresponds to the regulating fitting 30. The regulating fitting 30 has a regulating arm part 33, and in a state that the terminal is retained by a housing 20, the movable member is inserted and arranged between the two support arms 14, 16 at the cam part 44.
