OPTICAL SHEET, BACKLIGHT UNIT FOR DISPLAY, AND IMAGE DISPLAYING DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet to be a luminance controlling member formed by forming a lens layer and recessed parts in the rear surface of the lens layer so as to exhibit desired optical characteristics when being applied to a backlight unit and applying a light reflection layer on the recessed part; to provide the backlight unit for a display using the same; and to provide the image displaying display using the backlight unit.

SOLUTION: The optical sheet used for controlling illumination optical path in the backlight unit for the display has a lens array surface 2 wherein unit convex lenses each comprising a half cylindrical convex cylindrical lens are arranged in parallel on one surface of the optical sheet and is provided with the light reflection layer 4 having high light reflectivity facing a backlight light source side, reflecting light source light to the backlight light source side and having a prescribed width. The light reflection layer 4 has aperture parts 5 having prescribed widths corresponding to light condensing parts of the unit convex lenses by one to one and is formed in a stripe shape.
