<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire/wheel assembling method and a tire/wheel assembly reduced in uniformity component as compared with the conventional art. <P>SOLUTION: In the tire/wheel assembly, the tire is attached to the wheel in which rigidity in the radial direction is distributed on the circumference. In a tire cross section shape when the tire is cut at a cross section including a tire rotational center, a tire maximum width periodically fluctuates on the circumference of the tire. By deviating a phase of a high order component of rigidity in the radial direction of the wheel and a phase of a high order component of a uniformity component of the tire from each other, the amplitude of the high order component of uniformity in the tire/wheel assembly is set to at least 0.7 or lower with respect to the sum of amplitude of the high order component of uniformity generated by distribution of rigidity of the wheel and the amplitude of the high order component of uniformity of the tire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
