<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of suppressing vibration occurring in rails in the transfer device for transferring a transfer target while supporting it by a fixed-side rail and a movable-side rail, a component-mounting substrate transfer device, a component mounting device, and a positioning method for the transfer device. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer device is provided with a rail support which supports the movable-side rail 12 while making at least one end in the movable-side rail 12 as a free end, a rail width adjuster for adjusting a width between the rails while moving the movable-side rail 12, and a moving-position holding device 30 for holding a moving position of the movable-side rail 12 separately from the rail support. The moving-position holding device 30 is provided with a fixing member 31 fixed to the device body side, and a contact member 32 with the fixing member 31 while being supported by the movable-side rail 12 between a support position by the rail support part and the free end, so as to hold the moving position of the movable-side rail 12 by bringing the contact member 32 into contact with the fixing member 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
