PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk holding mechanism for reducing a force for loading/unloading a disk. SOLUTION: This mechanism is provided with: a support shaft 4 provided rotatably; a turntable 6 supported by the support shaft 4 to mount a disk 2; a fitting part 9 fitted into the center hole 3 in the center of the turntable 6; and a claw part 13 projected from the peripheral surface of the fitting part 9 to be brought into contact with the upper surface of the disk 2. The mechanism is also provided with a plurality of holding members 10... moved by a centrifugal force due to the rotation of the support shaft 4 so that a contact area between the claw part 13 and the disk 2 is increased.
