PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost required for modem units in a mobile station device, which includes a number of RF units and in which channels different from one each other are allocated to the RF units. SOLUTION: A mobile station device 10 includes a plurality of RF units 11, each of which includes an antenna and modem units 13 as many as or more than the number of the RF units 11, wherein each of the RF units 11 communicates with communications equipment 30 via an identical or different base station device 20. The mobile station device 10 includes a switching unit 12 for connecting the RF units 11 and the modem units 13; and a communication state acquisition unit 15, which acquires communication state information indicating a communication state of radio communication that each of the RF units 11 performs, and switches the connections of the RF units 11 and the modem units 13 in the switching unit 12 in accordance with each of the communication state information.
