PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when inputting characters to a computer by using a Morse signal, a method for inputting characters by using a single click button, or a method for operating keying by using two click buttons results in the increase of the number of times of keying for expressing one character or symbol and the increase of time consumption and difficulty. SOLUTION: An input device is configured by mounting a plurality of code buttons and one or more press buttons, and selecting and arranging a plurality of code buttons from code buttons to which switches for inputting a single short signal, a plurality of short signals, a single long signal, a plurality of long signals and a signal constituted of the combination of the short signals and the long signals are assigned, and keying a code array obtained by combining the short signals and the long signals in the Morse signal, and performing character conversion and output.
