PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate that uses an adhesive which has high adhesive strength for a polyvinyl-alcohol-based polarizer and a cycloolefin-based resin film and develops desired adhesive strength in a short time when the polarizing plate is manufactured, by sticking together the polyvinyl-alcohol-based polarizer and cycloolefin-based resin film as a protective film. SOLUTION: The polarizing plate has the cycloolefin-based resin film stuck as the protective film, on at least one surface of the polyvinyl-alcohol-based polarizer with the adhesive, in which polyalkylene imine and a crosslinking agent are mixed.
