PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of an earth retaining wall for constructing the earth retaining wall with moderate cut-off performance by constructing the earth retaining wall of a soil cement wall, and improving work efficiency and labor saving, causing neither movement of back face soil nor settlement of the ground on the non-excavated side. SOLUTION: A triple vertical hole 21 is excavated using a triple auger device 11 with a center auger 13 longer than augers 14 on both sides, and during the excavation of the triple vertical hole 21, cement milk is supplied to form the inside of the triple vertical hole 21 into a soil cement state. After pulling out the auger device 11, a soldier pile 22 is buried into the center deep vertical hole 19 to form a unit wall 23. The unit walls 23 are constructed in line so that shallow vertical holes 20 overlap one another to construct the earth retaining wall 24 continuous with solidified soil cement of the respective unit walls 23.
