PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass tube drying device capable of drying a glass tube in a short time even when it has the complicated shape, improving working efficiency, and reducing costs, with respect to the glass tube drying device for drying inner and outer faces of the glass tube. SOLUTION: This glass tube drying device 100 for drying the inner and outer faces of the glass tube G opened at its both ends, comprises a chamber 1 receiving the glass tube G, hot air supply means 2, 5, 6 supplying hot water to the outer surface of the glass tube received in the chamber 1, and heating the glass tube G to a prescribed temperature, and air supplying means 3, 4 for sending the air into the glass tube from one end of the glass tube G heated to the prescribed temperature by the hot air supply means 2, 5, 6.
