PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for determining the state of an injector capable of properly determining the state of the injector including the failure and the delay of operation by utilizing output signals from a cylinder pressure sensor. SOLUTION: This device for determining the state of the injector comprises an injector 4 fitted to a cylinder head 3b and jetting a fuel into a cylinder 3a, an injector drive means 2 for outputting drive signals SINJ to the injector 4 and driving the injector 4, the cylinder pressure sensor 6 installed in the cylinder head 3b and detecting the pressure in the cylinder 3a, and a state determination means 2 for determining the state of the injector 4 according to output signals DP from the cylinder pressure sensor 6 output in a predetermined period immediately after the drive signals are output.
