Method of managing additional filters in a navigation system fitted in a vehicle (1) and which provides, in a journey of the vehicle, at least one position of the vehicle by using a main filter for merging data originating from a visible constellation of satellites (2, 4, 5, 6) present above a horizon of the vehicle, the additional filters each excluding the data originating from one of the satellites to obtain a corrected position should the excluded satellite fail, characterized in that the method comprises the steps of: - determining, from a position of the vehicle, a theoretical constellation of satellites (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) present above the horizon, - for any satellite present in the theoretical constellation, creating and maintaining an additional filter excluding this satellite. |
