<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production apparatus and a power unit with a low impact on the environment in which accumulation of a produced oxide in a reactor is prevented and driving force is produced using generated hydrogen. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen production apparatus 10 comprises: the reactor 14 held in such a way that it is freely turnable on its central axis; a shield vessel 12 which holds the reactor 14 in such a way that the reactor is freely turnable on its central axis; a water nozzle 26 which supplies water to the inside of the reactor 14; an electrode unit 24 for generating hydrogen gas from a light metal or a light metal alloy within the reactor 14; and an injection nozzle 30 which is attached to the reactor 14, allows the inside and outside of the reactor 14 to communicate with each other, and imparts turning force to the reactor 14, and the hydrogen production apparatus 10 turns the reactor 14 using produced hydrogen and provides the power unit with a low impact on the environment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
