<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb catalyst capable of stably and highly efficiently removing carbon monoxide in a hydrogen-containing gas, and to provide the manufacturing method of the honeycomb catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: The honeycomb catalyst for carbon monoxide methanation is characterized in that a catalyst layer is formed on the surface of a honeycomb base material made of metal or ceramic and comprises a metal and a metal oxide. The metal oxide is at least one kind of oxide or multiple oxide selected from ZrO<SB>2</SB>, CeO<SB>2</SB>, NiO, CoO, Co<SB>3</SB>O<SB>4</SB>, Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, TiO<SB>2</SB>and SiO<SB>2</SB>, and the metal is at least one kind of metal selected from 4B group, 6A group, 7A group and 8 group. The invention is related to the honeycomb catalyst for carbon monoxide methanation in a hydrogen-containing gas, the manufacturing method of the catalyst and the methanation method of carbon monoxide using the catalyst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
