<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing implement which obtains a sufficient strength without increasing a wall thickness even when ceramic ware is used for a writing implement member, and also can be molded easily relatively without being damaged on the occasion of molding the member, and which has both high design properties and a good texture. <P>SOLUTION: The writing implement 1 has a gripping part 3 of a different material from that of a shaft tube 2 and the gripping part 3 is constituted of the ceramic ware. When the total length of the gripping part 3 is denoted by L, the outside diameter by A and the inside diameter by B, they satisfy the relation of (A-B)/L≥0.03.
