摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor storage device having a redundancy function that can be configured by the minimum change from an ECC memory. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor storage device is provided with; a memory which inputs and outputs first data, which are the part or whole of data having the prescribed number of bits of a power of two, and second data, which have the number of bits needed to correct errors to the data having the prescribed number of bits, in parallel; a redundancy switching information providing means which outputs redundancy switching information according to address signals supplied to the memory; and a redundancy controlling means which is provided between input-output terminals, the number of which is the same as the number of bits of the first data, and the memory, has a first path which connects bits having input-output terminals with the corresponding bits of the first data of the memory and a second path which connects the bits having the input-output terminals with the prescribed bits of the second data of the memory, and selectively provides either the first path or the second path according to the redundancy switching information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
