ENCODING DEVICE, DECODING DEVICE, AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding device capable of shortening the time required for generating an intra-prediction image performed based on a determined intra-prediction mode.

SOLUTION: The encoding device encodes a differential data between an image data and a prediction image data acquired by decoding after encoding the image data. It comprises an intra-buffer 101 which preserves a compensation data acquired by adding the prediction image data and the differential data together, and a calculation part 100 which generates a prediction image data of an object pixel block using a compensation data of the pixel which is contained in the pixel block adjoining the object pixel block and is arranged in row and column directions, among the compensation data preserved in the intra-buffer 101. The intra-buffer 101 comprises buffers buf0rd-buf9rd storing the compensation data of the pixel in the adjoining pixel block based on the row and column directions of the pixels.
