PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily generating a color correction profile in response to color reproduction desired by a user, and to provide an apparatus and program for generating a color correction profile, and a structure of digital image data. SOLUTION: The method is characterized by including a color correction step of applying color correction processing of correcting colors to pixels without taking into account relation of a color correction profile generating image integrated with a digital image representing a particular scene and a color chart image with other pixels, and a generating step of for generating a color correction profile for cross-referencing a pixel value representing each color of the color chart image before application of the color correction processing with a pixel value of each color of the color chart image after application of the color correction processing.
