PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving cover attaching structure for a hot plate, which makes a thermal insulating board freely detachable from a case main body, and at the same time, which prevents a heater terminal from being exposed outside when the thermal insulating board is removed from the case main body by attaching a receiving cover to the external surface of the thermal insulating board through an attaching plate, and also, which makes a special new safety device unnecessary. SOLUTION: This hot plate has the case body, the thermal insulating board which is housed and arranged in the case main body, a heating source which is arranged in the thermal insulating board, a plate which is mounted above the heating source, a temperature regulator, the receiving cover which supports the temperature regulator, and the attaching plate for attaching the receiving cover. The hot plate is constituted in such a manner that the receiving cover is attached onto the external surface of the thermal insulating board through the attaching plate, and the receiving cover is made freely detachable from the case main body.
