The arrangement has a storage area, which comprises two look-up charts, where the former chart comprises a multiple time intervals for determining time intervals between two signal changes at an outlet port (51) of control device. The other look-up chart comprises a multiple digital signal levels for emitting at outlet port of control device. A device is provided for determining sequential emission of the digital signal levels from the other look-up chart at the outlet port of the control device each during the time intervals assigned to each of the digital signal level look-up chart. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) ballast for a light emitting diode (2) a method for control of light emitting diode mechanism.
