A burning apparatus for a fluorescent lamp is provided to reduce largely a footprint by preventing protrusion of a lamp unloading unit to both sides thereof. A burning apparatus for a fluorescent lamp includes a lamp unloading unit(250) in order to discharge a fluorescent lamp inserted into an inside of a quartz tube by using magnetic force. The lamp unloading unit includes a magnetic bar(252), a magnetic bar moving part(254), and a fluorescent lamp reception part(256). The magnetic bar is moved in the inside of the quartz tube and is used for pushing one end of the fluorescent lamp. The magnetic bar moving unit is arranged at the outside of the quartz tube in order to move the magnetic bar by using the magnetic force. The fluorescent lamp reception part is disposed at one side of the quartz tube in order to receive the fluorescent lamp discharged from the quartz tube.
