<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool a portion to be cooled by sucking and discharging a gas for cooling by forced convection flow. <P>SOLUTION: The drive shaft 4 of a scroll fluid machine has a first cooling passage 42, a second cooling passage 43, and a forced convection generating part 44. In the first cooling passage, the gas for cooling is introduced from its one end into a gap 16 between the outer peripheral surface of an eccentric shaft part 41 and the inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole 52 in a swing scroll 5 into which the eccentric shaft part 41 is rotatably fitted. In the second cooling passage, the gas for cooling in the gap 16 is discharged from the other end of the drive shaft 4 to the outside. The forced convection generating part sucks the gas for cooling from the first cooling passage 42 into the gap 16 and discharges it to the second cooling passage 43 according to the rotation of the drive shaft 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
