<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printing method, by which a printed material excellent in lustrous properties can be obtained, and an ink set employed therein. <P>SOLUTION: The printing method (1) comprises the coating of a coating ink including at least one kind of particles selected from the group consisting of anionic colloidal silica, alumina and polymer particles on a recording medium so as to realize the spread of the particles of at least 5 g/m<SP>2</SP>and then the double printing of a water based ink containing coloring agent by an ink-jet recording system on a coatingly processed portion. The ink set (2) comprises the coating ink including the particles and the water based ink containing the coloring agent and the coatingly processing of the coating ink by an ink-jet recording system on the recording medium so as to realize the spread of the particles of at least 5 g/m<SP>2</SP>and the double printing of the water based ink on the coatingly processed portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
