<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite contact in which the number of components for electrically connecting a terminal of a fluorescent tube and a circuit board can be made few and electric connection of the terminal of the fluorescent tube and the circuit board can be carried out certainly. <P>SOLUTION: The contact 16 is a sheet metal member formed integrally of a single member consisting of a conductive member such as metal, and comprises a main body part 31, a pair of first elastic pieces 32, 33 extended from the main body part 31, and a pair of second elastic pieces 34, 35 extended from the main body part 31. The pair of second elastic pieces 34, 35 elastically contact a conductive pattern formed respectively on the surface and rear face of the circuit board and perform electric connection.
