<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can suppress recording paper consumption during copying and perform printing with no image deterioration even when it is desired to reproduce each of documents before summarization from a copy on which summarized image data has been printed. <P>SOLUTION: When performing allocation copy, the image forming apparatus stores into a memory section 3 non-magnified image data obtained by reading a document with the same magnification ratio by a reading section 1 under control of a controlling section 2, and creates summarized image data and prints the data by a printing section 6. Furthermore, when performing magnification copy, the image forming apparatus judges whether the non-magnified image data that become the basis of read image data, obtained by reading a copy of the summarized image data by the reading section 1 are stored in the memory section 3 or not under control of the controlling section 2 and when the non-magnified image data are stored in the memory section 3, the image data are utilized to carry out printing by the printing section 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
