<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a document output from an image forming apparatus after printing from being seen or obtained by a person except a user and to avoid stopping of a storing function of documents caused by full of a storage space by keeping and managing the documents. <P>SOLUTION: When a document is printed by an image forming section 30 in response to a request from an external device, keeping information for correlating a printed material to a user is generated to be stored by an information management section 20. A printed material formed by printing the document on a paper sheet by means of the image forming section 30 is stored in a document storage section. A control section controls a paper discharge section 70 to discharge the printed material stored in the document storage section 50 in response to a request from a user who is authenticated by an authentication processing section. The control section manages a keeping term of the printed material stored in the document storage section 50 according to the keeping information stored in the information management section 20 and controls to forcedly discharge the printed material of which the storing time period exceeds the keeping term from the document storage section 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
