<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock-absorbing cushioning structure body eliminating conventional inconvenience caused by heavy weight, hardness and bulkiness, and to provide a hip protector provided with the structure body promoted to be worn by aged persons for prevention of falling accidents causing bone fracture. <P>SOLUTION: The cushioning structure is formed through the following process: laying six pieces of drinking straws side by side; putting an adhesive tape around the outer periphery of the whole of the straws to be integrally formed flat; cutting the straws in a cylinder-axis direction at interval of cutting width H; forming a preparatory aggregate 5 where the straw pieces 51 are gathered/integrated with a band tape 52; and forming a unit cushioning body 2 where the preparatory aggregates 5 are stood on a base panel 4 to be integrated into a flat block state; forming many housing parts on a base fabric in a checkered arrangement; and housing the unit cushioning bodies in respective housing parts. The cushioning structure body is sewn to trousers, a stole, a belt bag or the like so as to cover an outside area of the waist of a wearer to be worn via a mean such as a hook-and-loop fastener or a pocket storage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
