PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the implimentation of adaptive mode of a filter requiring much amount of operation without increasing processing resources more than the resources employed in an adaptive mode, into which the amount of operation is concentrated, and without deteriorating the performance of a receiving unit. SOLUTION: The processor circuit 26 in this invention comprises the adaptive filter 30, constituted so as to process the first amount of digital signal samples per unit time when the adaptive filter 30 is operated in a first mode and process the second amount of digital signal samples per unit time when the adaptive filter is operated under a second mode while the first amount is not more than the second amount.
