PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current-carrying control device capable of securing a current-carrying controllable period longer by a power control element with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This current-carrying control device 100 has circuit parts 141 and 142 including the power control element 141 and forming a control circuit 2 controlling electric power applied to a glow plug GP1, a wiring board 120 composed of a glass epoxy composite material, that is, the wiring board 120 formed of a glass-epoxy composite material by mounting the circuit parts including the power control element 141 over both surfaces of itself, a resin case member 110 surrounding the power control element 141 while restricting a flow of air around the power control element 141 between the member and an external part, and a temperature rise delaying means (a check pin 152) arranged around the power control element 141, having heat conductivity higher than the case member 110, temporarily accumulating heat generated by the power control element 141 and delaying a temperature rise in this power control element 141.
