PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, easy in construction, and capable of preventing damage by a termite over a long period, when constructing a foundation of a new building. SOLUTION: A thin steel sheet is formed by covering both surfaces or only the under surface side contacting with a ground surface with a vinyl sheet, and is closely laid on the ground surface of being surrounded in the periphery by a continuous footing.
