PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment or the like for cooling a U-shaped steel sheet pile the camber of which is prevented by rolling and cooling the U-shaped steel sheet pile in an inverse position. SOLUTION: Air nozzles 20, 13 are situated on the downstream side in the direction of conveyance from a finish mill 40 for the U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 and the air nozzles 20, 13 for supplying air having the flow speed of≥10 m/s onto the upper surface, the back surface or both surfaces are continuously arrayed at the intervals within two times the width of the web 2 of the U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 in the direction of conveyance. In such a case, the air nozzle 20 for supplying the air onto the upper surface of the web 2 is retreated from the upside of a conveying table to the side part and, after the nose of the U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 enters, the air nozzle 20 is moved above the U-shaped steel sheet pile 1 and air blast cooling is started.
