PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a model change which shows that a rice cooker including the heat shield plate without the remodeling of a mold eliminating a heat shield plate. SOLUTION: An outer container 30 which becomes a heating space of an inner pot 20 is secured to an inner peripheral flange portion 11a formed in a cooker shoulder portion 11 whose upper end is open, the heat shield plate 50 is arranged in the inner space of the cooker between an outer container 30 and the bottom portion 13 of the cooker 10, a sensor body 60 contacting with the center of the bottom portion 21 of the inner pot 20 arranged on a heater 40 is provided, and the sensor body 60 is supported movably in a vertical direction relative to the outer container 30 in the securing structure.
