PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiping cloth for cleaning, which is capable of determining how much stain has been removed from a part to be cleaned and a replacement period of the wiping cloth by observing dust adhesion state. SOLUTION: A part 12 to which dust more easily adheres than other parts is formed by having a sheet base material 10 support a dust adhesive substance partially in a pattern like manner on top of the material. When the dust adheres to the part 12 by cleaning, a pattern 11, such as a character or a figure, stands out, and by observing how dust adheres to the wiping cloth 1 from the pattern 11, how much stain has been removed from the part to be cleaned and the exchange period of the wiping cloth 1 can be determined.
